Mr. Omar EL Adel Mohamed Abu Allam has over 26 years of experience in investment banking and asset management. He has successfully managed major financial accounts for banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, and large industrial corporations.
Mr. Omar EL Adel currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Arab African Investment Management and Head of Treasury Sector at Arabi African International Bank (AAIB). Since his graduation in 1993, he has had a distinguished career in senior management positions in leading financial institutions in the Middle East and North Africa region.
He served as Co-CEO of Egypt Beltone Asset Management and Beltone Financial Holding, where his role included providing exceptional leadership to the fixed income team and serving as the head of the fixed income investment committee. Prior to that, Mr. Omar EL Adel held the position of Head of Treasury Sector at Arab African International Bank after joining the bank in November 2020.
Through his key roles in the banking and financial sector, Mr. Omar EL Adel has built strong working relationships with major business partners and institutional clients, developed existing operations, and embraced new value-added opportunities.
Mr. Omar EL Adel holds a bachelor's degree in finance and banking sciences from Kuwait University.
Mr. Mohamed Mostafa has over 26 years of practical experience in equity management, fixed income, alternative investments in the Middle East and North Africa region. In addition to direct investment, he has expertise in financial consulting, financial and economic research.
Currently, Mr. Mohamed Mostafa holds the position of Managing Director and Head of Asset Management at Arab African Investment Management since 2010. He also chairs the investment committees in equity and fixed income management.
He began his professional career working in several financial and banking institutions in various positions in financial and economic analysis, such as Iran Egypt Development Bank, Prime Securities, and Al-Naeem Holding for Financial Investments. During this time, he conducted numerous financial and sectoral studies as well as company valuation studies in various sectors such as banking, cement, fertilizers, petrochemical industries, telecommunications, real estate investment, and pharmaceuticals.
He worked at Saudi Investment Bank as a Manager in the Financial Portfolios Management Department and a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Mostafa also served as the Head of Research and Private Equity Department at Resmala Asset Management Egypt (now Azimut Egypt).
He is a member of the Egyptian Investment Management Association (EIMA), the Egyptian Association for Direct Investment and Technical Analysis, as well as a member of the American Chamber of Commerce and the Egyptian Stock Exchange.
Mr. Mostafa holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in finance from the ESLSCA Business School in Paris, France.
Dr. Maha Murad is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the American University in Cairo (AUC) and the Chair of the Management Department. She is also a former Visiting Assistant Professor of Business Studies at Drew University in New Jersey.
Dr. Maha Murad has received two grants, including a Fulbright research grant from George Washington University in 2006 and an Erasmus Mundus research grant from the Warsaw School of Economics in Poland in 2012. She also received a Fulbright grant from North Central College in the United States between 2015 and 2016.
Her research interests cover various areas, such as brand ownership, services marketing, innovation, and higher education marketing. Over the past five years, Dr. Murad has published more than 36 scholarly contributions in international conferences and articles in various academic journals.
One of her papers was selected as a highly commended paper at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence in 2012. She has also received the University Excellence Award for Research and Creative Efforts in June 2014, in addition to the Excellence in Service Award from the School of Business in June 2019.
She has taught a diverse range of marketing courses in Egypt, Dubai, and the United States. Her professional experience also includes various national and regional consulting assignments.
Dr. Murad holds a Ph.D. degree in Marketing from the Nottingham University Business School in the United Kingdom.
Mr. Mohamed El-Gelany has over 17 years of extensive experience in the financial and banking sectors. He currently holds the position of Head of Core Banking Applications Business Analysis Team and Manager of the Financial Sector and Banking System Project at Arab African International Bank.
He has played a crucial role in business development, preparing financial and regulatory reports, budgets, and Central Bank reports for Arab African International Bank. Mr. El-Gelany has completed several diverse training courses in banking operations, asset management, liabilities, risk measurement, and capital markets.
He also holds a diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for Financial Reporting Preparation. He is a board member of the Insurance Fund of Arab African International Bank.
Mr. El-Gelany holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport.
Ms. Sherine Fadel, the founder of Truenorth Consulting, has over 26 years of experience in asset management. Before establishing Truenorth Consulting in October 2020, she served as the Managing Director of Acumen Asset Management since the beginning of 2019.
She was also one of the founding members of Beltone Financial, where she held various leadership positions over 14 years, including Operations Manager, Cash Investment Funds Manager, Investor Relations and Risk Management Manager, and Corporate Strategy and Planning Manager.
She contributed to the establishment of several innovative financial instruments in the Egyptian market, including money market funds, end-of-service benefits system for companies, regional funds, and index funds.
She also served as the Managing Director of the Index Funds Company and the Managing Director of the E-Services Management Company. Prior to joining Beltone Financial, she worked as an Assistant Portfolio Manager at Hermes Financial for 8 years.
Ms. Sherine holds a Master's degree in Banking and Finance from the Arab Academy for Science and Technology.
