Egypt, Thursday, 1 September 2022: Arab African Investment Management (AAIM) announced the commencement of the private placement in the “Bareeq Fund” for investment opportunities in fixed-income securities”, on Sunday, September 4, 2022. The new investment fund, issued by Bareeq Company, is specialized in fixed-income instruments and is available to individuals and Institutions.
Mr. Mohamed Mostafa, Managing Director of AAIM, added: "The offering of the fund is well timed, especially in light of the high yields generated by fixed-income instruments. The fund's assets will be invested in short- and medium-term fixed-income instruments that are characterized by high liquidity, such as Treasury bills and other government debt instruments."
Mr. Mostafa added that it was decided to close the subscription door quickly after the good coverage witnessed by the fund, which reflects more demand from individual and institutional investors.
The fund will allow clients to subscribe and redeem its certificates on a daily basis.
It is worth noting that subscriptions will be through Arab African International Securities (AAIS), and Ahli United Bank Egypt has been chosen as the fund’s custodian.
